Jealousy or negative vibes at work can adversely affect your life in many ways. Starting from leaving a bad impression amongst your peers your career can be ruined as well. A negative reputation of being a non team player can be detrimental to your career growth.

#2. It can ruin family relationships
A lot of families have been broken due to jealousy issues and today the concept of the nuclear families has evolved only due to such emotions of individuals. Any decisions made under the influence of this particular emotion can create rifts among family members. Hence this should be avoided at all costs.

#3. It will make you bitter and miserable
Jealousy not only makes you feel lonely and bitter but also is a potent weapon in instilling fear inside you. It affects your thinking capacity and contributes in making you an overtly pessimistic personality.

#4. It can completely destroy your social life
Social life is the time we spent mingling with our friends and acquaintances. Nobody wants to hang out with a bitter person who likes wallowing in self pity and bringing other people down. Jealousy if once takes control your mind then it destroys all chances of you meeting new people, potential soul mates and career connections.

#5. It will affect your general mental well-being
A person who spends his/her time eyeing other peoples failures and achievements is not a happy person in his/her own stead. Being a jealous individual affect your personal mental health making you feel angry, lonely and weak all the time. It is directly connected to several health risks like heart diseases, obesity, aging, premature death etc. The negative thinking can give rise to acute anxiety and depression related disorders.

#6. It will hurt personal relationships
Everybody looks for inspiration in their partners. Nobody likes dating an individual who is obsessing and bad mouthing other people’s achievements and failures on a daily basis.

A spiteful person can earn nobody’s love or respect. Also doubting your partner’s fidelity and getting spiteful about his/her peers from the opposite sex or ex partners create rifts in relationships that cannot be controlled after a period of time.

#7. It can make you a criminal
Another word for criminals is anti-socials. Uncontrolled bouts of jealousy can account to making you a criminal one day. Taking revenge is usually the end step to getting jealous. This in some cases has been noticed to make individuals take drastic steps.

#8. This will affect all your loved ones
If you are sad and miserable about life this would not make your family feel too happy either. They would be constantly anxious and worried about your well being and also be saddened with your general behaviour towards others.

This would ruin all your friendships: If you are someone who does not feel excited on a best friend’s achievement but feels threatened and bitter over it then you are a victim of this nasty emotion already. Such people find no friends as friendship involves mutual love, respect and a feeling of compassion and compromise. Falling short of these shall end up making you a friendless human being making you very lonely.
