Apple cider vinegar for acne prone skin

Vinegar, particularly apple cider vinegar, is among the best tried and tested home remedies for those oozy monsters. Apple cider vinegar works by balancing the skin’s pH and lending an even tone to your skin. For best results, dab a ball of cotton soaked with apple cider vinegar directly onto your acne prone zones, right before retiring to bed.

Avocado face mask for dry skin

With the winter winds blowing in, dry skin can be a nuisance. That’s when avocado, one of nature’s amazing gifts, can help. Loaded with vitamin C and E, avocado nourishes and softens the skin. Just scoop out the pulp of half an avocado, mash it, and add a few drops of almond oil for some extra moisturizing. Apply this pack on your face for 10-15 minutes and then rinse.

Citrus exfoliant

Dirt and grime clogging your pores could be an excellent breeding spots for various bacteria, causing acne breakouts, blackheads and whiteheads. That’s when this citrus exfoliant will come handy. Mix together two tbsp each of lemon and orange juice and apply on the face. Let it stay for around 5-7 minutes and then rinse. After this, while your skin is still wet, dip your fingers in baking soda and massage in circles on your entire face for two minutes.

Cucumber honey toner

Cucumber, being an excellent coolant, helps reduce inflammation of the skin and naturally refreshes the skin. Honey, loaded with antimicrobial properties, is an excellent home remedy for naturally absorbing impurities and cleansing the skin. Straining the juice of a couple of cucumbers, adding a few drops of honey to it, and using it as a toner can amaze you with the results. Your skin will look fab and glowing.
