Steak marinade recipes can indeed be elusive, as many people like to keep their family's secret recipes under wraps.
Ingredients:

1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
Instructions:

In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, black pepper, dried rosemary, and dried thyme until well combined.
Place your steak in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it is evenly coated. If using a plastic bag, squeeze out any excess air and seal it. If using a dish, cover it with plastic wrap.
Place the marinated steak in the refrigerator and let it marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for the best flavor. Turn the steak occasionally to ensure all sides are coated in the marinade.
When you're ready to cook the steak, remove it from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off.
Cook the steak according to your preference, whether it's grilling, pan-searing, or using a different cooking method.
