* Chicken Zeera *

INGREDIENTS:
Chicken - ½ kg
Ghee - 1 cup
Whole black pepper [Sabit kali mirch) - 8
Cinnamon stick [Dalchini] - 2 (med size piece)
Onion - 2 (finely chopped)
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Red chili powder - 1 tbsp
Haldi powder - 1 tsp
Salt - to taste
Roasted red ataa - ½ cup (dissolved in little water and make a paste)
Roasted zeera - 1 tsp (crushed)
Garam Masala powder - ½ tsp
Raw green chilies - 1 to 2 (chopped)
Fresh coriander leaves - ½ bunch (chopped)

METHOD:
1. Heat 1 cup ghee in a pan, add 8 sabit kali mirch, 2 med size dalchini stick, mix it and sauté.
2. Add chopped onion and sauté it till transparent, then add 2 tsp ginger garlic paste mix it and cook.
3. Add chicken pieces and cook till the chicken becomes dry.
4. Then add 1 tbsp red chili pwd, 1 tsp haldi pwd, salt mix it well and cook.
5. Dissolve ½ cup roasted red ataa in little water and then add this red ataa paste to the chicken, mix it well, cover it with lid and cook.
6. Then add 1 tsp crushed roasted zeera, ½ tsp garam masala pwd mix it well and cook.
7. Dish out in a serving bowl, garnish it with chopped raw green chilies and coriander leaves and serve.
