Prawn Chowmein

egg noodles 1 packet
1 kg prawns (medium sized)
red cabbage 1 medium sized
carrots 2 no. juliene cut
spring onions green part 5-6 no.
capsicum 2 no. (juliene cut)
ginger 1 1/2 " piece juilene cut
garlic 5 - 6 cloves juliene cut
chinese salt (optional)
black pepper crushed
chicken powder or chicken cube
soya sauce
thai seasoning (optional)

in boilng water add noodles, 2 tbsp oil, 1 tbsp salt. when the noodles are cooked drain them and sprinke some fresh watr on top.

marinate the prawns with soya sauce 2 tbsp,1/2 tsp salt and 2 tsp cornflour

in a pan take 4 tbsp oil. saute ginger garlic in it

add the prawns, and 1/2 tsp black pepper and sry teh prawns. do not over cook the prawns the cooking time for prawns is only 10 minutes

add carrots mix

add red cabbage and stir fry

cook on high heat as the chinese is always cooked on high flame

add capsicum, green part of teh spring onion, chicken powder 1/2 tsp, 1 tsp black pepper crushed, 1/2 tsp chinese salt, 1/2 tsp thai seasoning, 4 tbsp soya sauce, 1 cup of water and mix well

in a cup of water mix 4 tsp corn flour

put cornflour in teh above mixture as needed to form a thick gravy. cook until there is a little shine in the gravy.

put 1 tbsp butter in a pan and stir fry the noodles . dish put teh noodles and pour the prawns gravy on it
