KARACHI: Former information minister Sindh Sharjeel Memon has stated that he would accept every decision of the party and that he himself tendered the resignation as a provincial minister.
Talking to the media at Karachi airport, Sharjeel Memon said Mirza was his friend and would remain so.
The former minister said his meeting with Mirza was personal and that the visit to London had no link with Zulfiqar Mirza.
Sharjeel Memon said he had given an explanation to the party leadership about the visit and tendered his resignation himself to satisfy the party.
Sharjeel said the ministerial post was entrusted to him by the party and it had right to take the post back.
He said "I apologized party leadership for bringing shame," adding that he would not extend his apology to any coalition partner
