LAHORE: PML-N president Nawaz Sharif said on Saturday that he will strengthen institutions and would not allow anyone to destroy the judiciary, constitution, law or parliament.

Sharif said that people talk of brining change, but change came to the country in 1998 when Pakistan conducted a nuclear test in answer to India.

While addressing engineering students in Lahore, Sharif said it was an injustice to Pakistan when his government was toppled.

Sharif said that 35,000 people had lost their lives in suicide attacks and $7 billion in losses were incurred.

“Unemployment, loadshedding and the economy were destroyed,” Sharif added.
