T-shirts are one of the most fashionable forms of casual wear for both men and women. T shirts are available in a wide selection of styles, prints and fabrics. They can be costly as well as cheap, depending on from where they are purchased. But irrespective of the cost and the material used, the life span of a T-shirt is not especially long. You might wear it a couple of times in summers and it becomes fitting to be damaged under-sweater only.

But a few simple tricks of “t-shirt maintenance” can actually help your t-shirts last longer. You can create them last longer if you care for them properly.

* Make sure the wash instructions label in your T-shirt.

* Always use cool water whereas washing T-shirt.

* Make use of moderate cycles in washing T shirts in washing machine.

* If you have a white T shirt, don’t combine it with other colored clothes. Fairly wash all the white stuff together.

* Use a mild detergent to wash your T shirt.

* Do not throw your t-shirts in the dryer. Even if you only fall, dry your t-shirts on a low heat surroundings. Drying clothes also make them to get smaller a little bit each time. Instead suspend them out to air dry.

* Turn your T shirt inside-out if you dry it directly under the sun. In this way, the colors stay together for a long time. You can also suspend your T shirt indoors as they dry rather quickly.

* Do not iron printed or embroidered parts of the T shirt.

* Finally, when you keep your properly washed and ironed T shirt lynching in the wardrobe, take care when hanging them on storage place. As this can extend out your collar ultimately. Instead it is better to leave them flat on the shelves of your closet.

I really love wearing t shirts and I have a few of my favorites that I really love to wear. Though I hate it when the collar part gets loose like a bacon. I have searched for tips on how it could be avoided but to no avail as that seems to depend on the life of cotton used, really. I have to agree that following the wash instructions on the side of the shirt can really be helpful.
