i see your eyes light up
when you receive a message from her
and you don’t reply
you just stare for seconds
until you eventually smile
and slowly reply back
making each word count
reading over it, making sense of sentences
and you press send

i see you shake with nerves
until she replies back to you
and even then
i can tell it in your eyes
that you would rather
talk to her with kisses
and reply to her with hugs

but even just a reply from her
makes your eyes light up
and thats how i know
you are in love with her
