As Flight Lieutenant, he fought in the Indo-Pakistani war of 1965 and later, as Squadron Leader in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. During the 1965 war, Chaudhry and three other pilots, destroyed the Amritsar Radar Station in a difficult attack. He was awarded the Sitara-e-Jurat (Star of Courage) for his role in that mission.Chaudhry became an educationalist after leaving the air force and affiliated himself with the Punjab Education Foundation. He served as principal of St. Anthony's College for many years, before becoming principal of Saint Mary's Academy. He was an influential human rights activist and worked for the betterment of children with disabilities and for educational reform. He was Executive Secretary of the All Pakistan Minorities Alliance (APMA) since its inception, until his death. He was also affiliated with the National Commission for Justice and Peace and was instrumental in leading the fourteen year campaign that led to the restoration of Pakistan's joint electorate system in 2002.Cecil was a symbol of the patriotism and dedication of non-Muslim Pakistanis to their motherland and was an ambassador of education, tolerance and minority rights in Pakistan.

He was a qualified engineer in the U.S and self-taught abstract painter and portrait painter. Before 1959, as portraitist, he painted the entire Afghan Royal Family. From about 1960 onward, he was noted as an abstract painter influenced by the tradition of Islamic calligraphy and by the American "action painting" idiom. Gulgee also created sculpt...ures, including bronze pieces that were calligraphic in form and inspiration, and sometimes specifically based on verses from the Quran. His paintings are bright and full of color and resonate with intense feelings. Areas sing with luminous, thin color; thick blobs of paint pulsate with fiberglass tears, the brush swirls strong and free. Guljee, due to his tremendous popularity, received many requests for his paintings internationally, from the Saudi royal family to the Islamabad Presidency. Many of his works are placed in the "Faisal Mosque" in Islamabad. Guljee received many awards from countries including Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Japan and France. His awards include the prestigious Pride of Performance, Sitara-e-Imtiaz (twice) and Hilal-e-Imtiaz.
Pakistan ko sirf ek he nobel award mila woh bhi hum accept karte howe sharam mehsoos karte hain ya mazhabi tabqe se darte hain sirf isliye ke award lene wala muslim nhi.Day 7Pakistan Gave Us: Mohammad Abdus Salam (1926-1996)Unquestionably, the greatest scientific mind produced by the country. Pakistan's first Nobel laureate was a theoretical and particle physicist and won the Nobel Award in Physics for his work on the electroweak unification of the electromagnetic and weak forces. Even in Pakistan, few people know that the existence of the recently discovered Higgs Boson was incorporated into modern particle physics by Abdus Salam, and isan essential part of the standard model.Salam was the founding director of Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO), and responsible for the establishment of the Theoretical Physics Group (TPG) in Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC). Salam played an integral role in Pakistan's development of nuclear energy, and directed the research on development of atomic bomb project of Pakistan in 1972. He is viewed as the "scientific father" of this program in the views of the scientists who researched under him.Salam heavily contributed to the rise of Pakistani physics community in the world and also set up the Theoretical Physics Department at Imperial College London and became the youngest Fellow of the Royal Society at the age of 33.His major achievements include the Pati–Salam model, magnetic photon, vector meson, Grand Unified Theory, work on supersymmetry and, most importantly, electroweak theory. Salam made major contributions in Quantum Field Theory and modern theory on neutrinos, neutron stars and black holes, as well as the work on modernizing quantum mechanics.@~Zeest~@Sabah@Nelli@pa1980pa@Asma24@Zee Leo@Ghooost@Bela@Rubi@Atif-adi @*SHOAIB*@Diva@Jiya.@Piya@faari@Sis@zeri@hoorain@Ghooost@~Bahaar~@Fa!th@yoursks@مسلم@whiteros@zoonia@Zonish@Don@whiteros@Redvirus@*khushi*[DOUBLEPOST=1344419820][/DOUBLEPOST]ThePatriot
