2. Development of Hazara University Phase-I (Revised)
The project was approved in 2004 at a total cost of Rs.179.000 million. Implementation work was in process when the earthquake of 2005 struck. Therefore work had to be stopped and the project revised. The project envisages construction of 2 Academic Blocks, 2 Students' Hostels 2 administration blocks and other allied facilities. However a revised project was submitted to the HEC/P&D Division at a total cost of Rs.384.079 million and has been approved on February 15, 2007. Contracts for Academic Blocks (A&B), Administration Block (A&B), Boys Hostel for 200 Students, and Girls Hostels for 100 students is in full swing. The project will be completed by the end of this year.
