“Ibn-e-Insha” born in 1927 in Jalandar (India). At that time, he completed his basic education from Punjab university Lahore and Karachi university, Karachi. He used to write some articles for daily Imroz and Jang and Weekly Akhbar-e-Jehan. The real name of Ibn-e-Insha was “Sher Mohammad Khan”. He was a great “Safar Nama” writer and a prolific poet of Urdu literature. His books “Chaltay ho to cheen ko Chaliay”, “Awara Gard ki Diary”, “Dunia Gol Hai” and “Ibn-e-Batoota” are some of the most read comic literaries (Safar Namas) of Urdu Literature. Two poetic collections “Chand Nagar” and “Is Basti ke Koochay Mein” are also very popular. He died in 1978 in Pakistan.
