O Blessed Orphan of Mecca,
Yours was a splendid birth,
One whose light shone thru the universe.
You grew up blessed with a heart,
That hearkens to the low and oppressed,
You were a true hanif,
In which love and mercy were not suppressed.
Al-Amin, you were known to be,
True to your bond for all posterity,
You were a beacon of light
You were a wonderful sight.
You grew disenchanted with the ways of your peers,
You hated their lewdness, debauchery and their seers,
Your heart sought peace in that blessed cave,
From which, all humanity you could save.
Your true love she was,
She who stood by you when you were in fear,
She will forever be the woman,
You hold so dear.
You spread your creed thru your deeds,
You hated the sword,
Yours was a hand of friendship,
That extended to all, big or small.
Your life was an open book,
A guide for us to follow,
You were a living Quraan,
Showing us a better morrow.
You delivered us out of our own ignorance,
You were a great exemplar of true forbearance.
God choose you as a vessel of truth,
From which sprung out the ideal youth.
O Blessed Orphan of Mecca,
Eternity will bear witness to your name,
As every true Mu'min will never cease to spread your fame.
