Chancellor's Message
I am pleased to see the beautifully designed campus of the university of Gujrat (UOG), which is fast establishing its reputation under the visionary leadership of vice chancellor Prof Dr Mohammad Nizamuddin.
UOG not only has one of the best campuses in the countries, but it also has well equipped laboratories, updated libraries and latest learning technologies. In addition, the university employs innovative teaching methods and techniques.
In this manner, UOG is playing a dynamic role in Pakistan's development, especially through contributions in the fields of science and technology, and social sciences. It is my heartfelt desire that a history and Islamic Research Institute, as well as a Sufi Chair, be established on the premises of the university.
I am confident that UOG will be able to meet the challenges human development in the days to come. I also believe that the faculty and students of the university will continue to achieve various milestones with passion, commitment and enthusiasm.
