When people think of Bollywood, they almost always think Yash Raj Films. This time they are going to take part in their first TV related venture.
The website they will be using is Rishta.com and it will be a comedy series featuring some of the hottest, most well recognized actors in Bollywood.
Actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Ritesh Deshmukh, Tabu, Rani Mukherjee, Uday Chopra, Jugal Hansraj have all reportedly agreed to appear on the show. The show will air in October.
One source said that “YRF is leaving no stone unturned to make a grand entry in television. They have spoken to most of the top actors, who have worked with them. While most of the actors have already agreed to make an appearance in Rishta.com, some are still being approached. The show is about a matrimony office through which couples meet.”
While YRF spokesperson said, “YRF is working on various television concepts, which are right now at different stages of development and are untitled. We will make an announcement when everything is in place.”
